Each of our classes has space for eight children. 

For the Tuesday/Thursday class, we accept children ages three to four who are completely toilet trained. For the Monday/Wednesday class, we accept children four and five years old who will be attending Kindergarten the following year.

When possible, we strive for an equal balance of boys and girls in each class. Every class is a fun-filled morning that balances structured and unstructured time. Children sing songs and play music; do arts, crafts and STEM projects; are introduced to letters and numbers; are read stories; and just get to play and be kids. Because of the small class size, each child receives individual time and attention.

 

Each day, one parent aids the teacher in the classroom. In addition to keeping our costs low, this allows parents to be directly involved in their child’s first education experience. On volunteer days, this parent aid is allowed to bring along one sibling between the ages of two and seven, as long as caring for this child doesn’t inhibit their abilities to carry out their aid duties.
